Allen Believes in Protecting Our Air & Water Quality.
As a member of the bi-partisan Clean Air Caucus, Allen has worked hard to clean up the air & water in Dallas County – and recognizes that poor air & water quality are health issues that affect all Texans.
- Allen was has worked to prevent the building of almost all of TXU’s planned coal-fired power plants.
- Allen supported the establishment of a statewide water management program, which is essential to water conservation and addressing Texas’ future water needs.
- Allen believes that green space improves our quality of life, and voted for much needed funds to improve our state parks.
- The Dallas Morning News named Allen as one of the “Better Air” members of the Texas House.
