Immigration
Immigration is now the kind of political issue characterized more by shrill partisan rhetoric than by real action. With Texas on the front lines of the immigration challenge, it’s time for partisan bomb-throwers to stop using the issue as a political prop and to start taking real steps toward meaningful immigration reform.
Rep. Vaught supports any effective measure that will:
- Secure our border.
- Enforce our laws.
- Stop illegal immigrants from cutting in line ahead of people who are following the legal process.
- Protect businesses and our economy by pursuing reform that’s grounded in practical reality, not political theatrics.
