Rep. Allen Vaught Receives Endorsement From the Texas State Rifle Association

Democratic State Representative Allen Vaught of House District 107, has received an “A” rating and the endorsement of the Texas State Rifle Association (TSRA), the state affiliate for the National Rifle Association (NRA), for the 2010 election cycle.
“As a native Texan and a combat veteran, I understand the importance of protecting our Constitutional freedoms, including the right to bear arms” said Rep. Vaught. “I am honored to have been endorsed for two consecutive election cycles and I am proud to stand with TSRA and NRA in supporting our 2nd Amendment rights and freedoms.”
Rep. Vaught first took office in 2007 and is in his second term representing House District 107. Vaught served as a U.S. Army Reserve Captain and fought in Operation Iraqi Freedom, and now serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Defense and Veterans Affairs Committee.
